lesson 2: Simple Santa Using Shapes
Learn how to take simple shapes and use them to make up the elements of Santa’s face. You will also get to see the Twirl tool in action.
lesson 3: Create Your Own Snowflakes
Starting with a hexagon, you will learn how to build your own snowflake very simply. Just a few repeated steps will give you a wide assortment of snowflake options.
lesson 4: Create a Christmas Tree
Use the pen tool to create a wonderful Christmas ribbon tree by setting up some simple but important guides so that you will get things right the first time. You will also get a better understanding of gradients.
lesson 5: Gingerbread Man
Learn how to use the paths that you make most effectively. You will see how easy it is to create and off-set path from an existing one, and also use both the Illustrator and Photoshop filters to decorate your cookie.
lesson 6: Fancy Wreaths
Using symbols already loaded into Illustrator will be a great base to start making your own unique wreaths. You will learn how to create branches of the wreath and then rotate them around to create the final product.
lesson 7: Document Set-Up for Cards
Learn how to create card templates and set up your document to get it ready for printing.
