Through his involvement with a photography scavenger hunt on Google Plus Mark has created images based on his interpretations of certain words that have resulted in powerful images, one of which won the Best of Show award at Photoshop World.

Mark is a conceptual artist who uses both photographic and traditional painting techniques to create work that blurs the line where reality ends and his own imagination begins. His work is an eclectic merging of dark, humorous, witty, and thought provoking themes and ideas. Along with his photographic work, he is also an illustration artist, graphic designer, and animator for the nonprofit group WhyU.
