USING MORE THAN ONE FLASH? THEN USING THE GROUP FEATURE WILL MAKE THINGS MUCH EASIER
(Note: Instructions on how to set a group on your flash may be slightly different depending on your model of flash.)

Canon: Press the fourth Function button on the back of the flash (the one on the far right), until you see Menu 1 in the display, then press the third Function button (the second one from the right) to display the Group and select A (or B, C, etc.).

Nikon: Press the center dial to select M, then rotate the dial and choose your flash mode. Press the dial to highlight group A (or B, C, etc.)

Yongnuo: Press the Trigger mode button (the second button from the right) until you see RX appear at the top of the screen. Then, press the center Set/Select button and the group will begin to flash. Press the Up (or Down) button to select a group, then press the Set/Select button.

Sony: Press the Mode button, select WL RMT, then press the F button and use the dial to select the wireless remote setting. Press the center of the dial, and then rotate it to set the remote group.

Phottix: Press the Right Arrow Adjustment button to access the Channel and Group selection, then use the Right and Left Arrow Adjustment buttons to select Group. Use the Up or Down Adjustment buttons to assign a group.

USING CHANNELS TO KEEP OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM ACCIDENTALLY FIRING YOUR FLASH
(Note: Instructions on how to set a channel on your flash may be slightly different depending on your model of flash.)

Canon: Press the fourth Function button on the back of the flash (the one on the far right), until you see Menu 3 in the display, then press the first Function and turn the dial to select a channel.

Nikon: Press the “i” button to display the menu and choose Channel, then use the dial to choose a channel.

Yongnuo: Press the Trigger mode and Zoom buttons (the third and fourth buttons) at the same time until the channel flashes on screen. Then, press the right button to select the channel, and then press the center Set/Select button to save it.

Sony: Press the Menu button, use the dial to choose WL CH, and then choose a channel.

Phottix: Press the Right Arrow Adjustment button to access the Channel and Group selection, then use the Right and Left Arrow Adjustment buttons to select Channel. Use the Up or Down Adjustment buttons to adjust the reception channel.
